Subject: Lululemon Headphones launch campaign
The following is a summary of the Lululemon headphones launch campaign. The purpose of this campaign is to tie exercise to music, thus connecting Lululemon’s activewear products with the new headphone product.
A teaser will be dropped to build up curiosity. Because this is a brand new product, the teasers will be dropped on all widely used social media platforms for maximum reach. Afterwards, there will be informational posts regarding music and exercise to further tease the product and familiarize prospective customers by tying it to Lululemon’s already successful activewear products. A final teaser will be dropped revealing that the product will be unveiled the next day.
A full product announcement will be released on Friday, the last day of the weekdays, so that it will build maximum interest. Most people will have begun their weekend break and can consider leisure activities such as working out and shopping, creating an ideal window for sales. To further encourage sales, a collaboration with a popular and accomplished athlete will be announced. For hardcore athletes that follow Lululemon, an athletic challenge tying in with the headphones will further add engagement. Community events for more casual athletes will be made available to widen the reach of potential customers.
In conclusion, this strategic campaign aims to seamlessly integrate Lululemon's new headphones into the brand's identity, enhancing the exercise experience while fostering community engagement and excitement around the launch.
